EmailXtract not checking all subfolders of a Inbox

EmailXtract completes after only checking 222 messages and I know this mailbox has more than 10,000 messages in it.  The option is checked to look at all subfolders.  What am I missing?

Hello,

We would need more details to be able to assist you.

1) Version of EmailXtender : 4.81.####

2) Version of Exchange/Notes hosting the users Mailbox.

3) Did you grant "Send as - Receive As" permissions for the service account to all mailboxes ?

4) Enable "detailed Logging" on the Archive Job and provide error messages being reported.

Once we know this, I beleive we will be able to assist you more efficiently.

Regards

Stephane

What if these folders are on the main level?  Meaning the same level as Deleted Items, Sent Items, and Inbox.  How can you get emailxtender to scan them if they aren't a subfolder of the Inbox?

EmailXtract can Archive folders from the Top Level, This is documented in the EmailXtender Administration Guide on Page 11-66, here is the relevant part :

User Defined Folders

- Applies the task to user-created folders. If the user-created folders reside in other folders, such as the Inbox,

you must select both the Inbox and User Defined Folders check boxes. If the user-created folders are located at the top level of the

mailbox, similar to the Inbox or Sent Items folders, you only need to select the User Defined Folders check box.

The "User Defined Folders check box is located here :

Can you confirm if you are running your archive Task with the "User Defined Folders" Checked ?

If you are, and it is still skipping the Top Level Folders, please open a Support Ticket with EMC and we

can have a more detailled look with you.

Stephane

Thanks for the reply.  The User-defined box was checked.  I decided to move those top level folders under the Inbox and it solved my problems.

Thanks again.
