EmailXtender, some items not showing up in search
i originally thought i had an issue searching attachments, but upon investigation it appears the message i was trying to search an attachment on doesn't show up at all in the search. it seems random, for instance an email item from today shows up, yet one from yesterday does not.
if i search on date ranges, some of it is there, some of it is not. I'm not sure if it's a configuration issue, or an indexing issue, but i can see that even though we're journaling and archiving everything, everything is not showing up via the search.

Have a look inside the DropDir folder where the indexes are kept. If there are many files there then there are chances that messages will come in results after some time.
We usually believe that once messages passed index queue under private MSMQ that it would be searchable, but that is not the case those messages were only made candidate for indexing. When indexer got chance to work on those is dependable on the configuration and files in the DropDir.
If those messages are not searchable even after most of the files got cleared form DropDir , open support ticket and let support engineer from EMC Messaging team look into it.
