EmailXtender search results incorrect
Hi all,
Imagine following setup :
* Clustered MS Exchange 2003SP2 on MS Windows 2003R2
* EmailXtender 4.81.1147 on MS Windows 2003 R2
* MS Office Outlook 2003 (11.8313.8221) SP3 on MS Windows XP Professional Version 2002 SP3
Some of our users are complaining that the results they get out of EmailXtender Search are not correct.
When they open a mail message from the list of search results, a completely differrent mail message is retrieved.
e.g. Doubleclicking the mail "From: UserA - To: UserB - Subject: Green" opens the mail message "From: UserC - To: UserD - Subject: Red"
We've had some issues with corrupted indexes a while ago. Issues that were fixed through the health check utility and reindex, but I dont know if that could be related.
I already tried re-indexing once more, but this did not solve the issue either.
Is this behaviour by design ?
Is it a known phenomenon ?
Is there a logical explanation ?
Is there a way to fix this ?

The behavior you have described is not normal. What I suggest is to either call EmailXtender support and open a case or start a chat.
