Downloading SourceOne Messages into PST files
Hello everybody,
We have a problem with version 7.1 of EMC SourceOne Offline Access: we are changing our IT provider and we need to migrate all of our stored mailbox messages into PST files, which will be handed over to users and accessed locally within the new IT environment.
Messages are initially successfully decompressed from class IPM.Note.ExShortcut (i.e. compressed in SourceOne archive) to class IPM.Note in the PST file (as they are probably decompressed and cached), however after a while they are returned in class IPM.Note.ExShortcut and compressed again (this happen directly in the PST files, not on the server).
We can still access the messages in class IPM.Note.ExShortcut, as we are still connected to old IT environment, but when we will disconnect and be on our own, we will lose this link, thus e-mails will not be available any longer.
How can we ensure that PST stored e-mails extracted from SourceOne Archive will remain as IPM.Note class, and avoid any recompression?
Thank you and best regards,
Federico Cattaneo.

Greetings,
Please increase quota for users, run SourceOne shortcut restore activity on mailbox and then create PST out of it and see if you still see the issue.
Also make sure you so not have any activity in SourceOne running for PST files.
Best regards,
Rajan
