Compatibility with Citrix

Does anyone know what the latest version of Citrix is supported for use with EmailXtender? It was mentioned to me in passing that it was believed the latest version of Citrix has issues with EmailXtender.

Thanks.

I dont know about latest, but old one was also not compatible with EmailXtender. We have Citrix and lotus notes, where EmailXtender we are not able to use the Plug-In.

Hi there,

please have a look at your versions compatibility list (is part of the download and called "MsgCompatGuide.pdf"). There are certain versions of Citirx mentioned.

I have the shortcutting running both in an Exchange and Domino environment. I have so far only installed the common files (without the search and documentation), as I am not a Citrix pro myself.

I have posted in a thread "Installing COM addin on Citrix server" just a couple of days more about the installation:
1) On Citrix servers, I have so far only installed the common files in a silent installation. Therefore, I used the switches... ADDLOCAL=Common REMOVE=Sea,Doc ...have a look in the ExInstallGuide.pdf.

2) What happens as part of the the installation, that the systems environment path variables are added by an entry, that points to the "common files" e.g. C:\program files\common files\OTG (in command prompt type path to see the entry). In this path, the required DLLs for the shortcut resolution can be found (for any user on the machine).

Hope this helps, Jochen.
