Can't open attachments

Hey Folks,

I can't open any attachments once the mailbox has been shortcutted. How can I restore his mailbox to it's original state?

Any help is appreciated.

Hello,

Are you using EmailXtender or EMC SourceOne to archive and shortcut messages ?

If its EmailXtender then you will need either the shortcut add-in or EmailXtrander Search plug-in installed on the client machine to resolve shortcuts. Few threads down I have already explained about the difference between all of these (http://forums.emc.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=131512&tstart=0). Should you need there is EmailXtract application on EX server, you can create shortcut job in it to restore shortcuts back to the users mailbox. Instead of restoring shortcuts i would suggest you trying to find why shortcuts do not resolve. If needed you can work with EMC Support who should be able to assist you with this issue. Please also make sure there is a connection mailbox added in the EX Admin GUI on EX server because that is needed for the shortcut resolution to work.


If you are using EMC SourceOne then you will need EMC SourceOne Offline access installed on the client machine to help you resolve emais with shortcuts.
