attachment icon not visible after PST shortcut
Hi,
Recently we often run into the issue that the attachment icon (paperclip) isn't visible in Outlook after shortcutting the PST file to the mailbox.
Most of the times restoring the shortcuts and then reshortcutting the mailbox causes the paperclip to become visible, but this is a very time consuming workaround (the mailboxes are bigger than 1GB). Does anyone have any idea how this issue is caused and how to resolve it?
Kind regards,
Duncan

If you can reproduce it, I would say contact EMC EmailXtender Support, its all about MAPI properties, I belive if its caused by EmailXtract support will be able to help.

Thanks for your replies. I think I have resolved the issue. It was probably caused by a (corrupted) MAPI profile. After creating several new ones, the issue hasn't re-occurred.
Kind regards,
Duncan

If MAPI profile is corrupt it is always advisable on EX server to delete all MAPI profiles and create new profile with the same name as previous one used by EX. While you are deleting and recreating MAPI profiles EX services should not be running.
Thanks,
