Why are forum threads for Ionix/Smarts ADM locked?

ATTENTION: Effective July 1, 2010 Select Ionix Products Transition to VMware

Earlier this year, we announced the completion of VMware’s acquisition of several products and expertise from EMC’s Ionix IT management business including:

  • EMC Ionix Service Manager
  • EMC Ionix Application Discovery Manager
  • EMC Ionix Server Configuration Manager
  • EMC Ionix Configuration Analytics Manager
  • EMC Ionix Application Stack Manager

While EMC will continue to resell the acquired Ionix solutions, Global Support Services for these products transfers to VMware effective July 1, 2010 @ 8:00 am local time.  EMC has worked closely with VMware to help ensure a smooth transition. Support for all other solutions in the EMC Ionix family continues to be provided by EMC’s global customer support organization.
