Upgrading Tomcat to version 6.0
Currently we are running Tomcat 5.5.27 (the most recent version tested and approved by EMC Smarts to work with version 7.x of the SAM Business Dashboard and Web Console according to a Powerlink solution) but we need to use Tomcat 6.0. We followed the same steps from the Powerlink solution for upgrading a 5.5.x version to a newer 5.5.x version but this process was unsuccesful when trying to upgrade from 5.5 to 6.0. Is Tomcat 6.0 compatible with Smarts? If so, what is the process for upgrading from Tomcat 5.5 to 6.0?

my understanding is that you don't really need Tomcat for Business Dahsboard and Web console. These 2 are just applets which can be DL from any HTTP server. So, you can just use your proper install of tomcat, not the one by default in Smarts installation.
My 2 cents,
