too many alarms

I have too many alarms in my notification list on SAM. is there any way i could reduce these meaningless alarms without unmanaging the devices.

This is a bit broad. where are the alarms that you don't want coming from? Smarts or other systems?

In any case, you can use NotificationLists to filter out the unwanted notifications at the server. You can create a NotificationList that is associated to the user profile.
