Smarts Notification Property Dialog box customisation

Hi Raghs,

Unfortunately, AFAIK, there is no way of customizing that view. You'd have to change the java code which is probably not legal.

Closest you can get is to create your own action in the menu that would show notification properties. Menu action can launch a browser that would in turn get whatever data you want from the server and present to users.

As a reference, my company offers a product called RapidOSS that provides a web based UI for Smarts that is fully customizable hence suitable for these type of requirements. You can find more info from the URL below if necessary.

Thanks for the quick response.BTW if we can't create one more tab to display additional attributes, can we show them(additional attributes) as part of Details tab which already exists in Smarts Notification Property dialog box.If yes!! how can we do that.

actually, there is a way to customize the details tab. Using Dynamic Model. David Fiore, when working at EMC, gave a good description on this feature. I'm using this since years and it works fine.
