ResourceException events will not automatically close

General info:

Smarts 7.2 build 110

SCOM 2007

SAM adapters 1_2_0_10 > SCOM to Smarts adapter

Normally Smarts automatically closes the "resourceexception" events when the main issue that caused the event is resolved. The SAM/SCOM connector is passing both the main issue and the resourceexception events to SCOM. Even after the main issue is solved in Smarts and SCOM. SCOM seems to be holding the "resourceexception" events open. The event will only close in Smarts after I manually close the event in SCOM.

How do I keep the "resourceexception" events from being passed by the connector into SCOM?
