sm_service start INCHARGE-TA

Hi

Check if the service is installed on the server you are.

sm_service show --cmdline INCHARGE-TA

If you got nothing back you are either on the wrong server or the service is not installed.

Thanks for the prompt response.

I run the command on /SAM/smarts/bin and on /IP/smarts/bin to no avail. I get SMS-E-PROT_ECOMMAND-Command failed
SMS-ESRVNOTFOUND-Service INCHARGE-TA not found

Thanks Chris... this has ben helpful. I have managed to show the services on the SMARTS server and started the TA manager by the name. This works!...

./sm_service start ic-trap-receiver
