How to get SMARTS web console access to work using SecureID.

Hi,

I have a system working, that allows users to access the Web Console using secureID tokens. Built before I arrived

I have a new system that has been built and users are expecting to be able to use their RSA SecureID tokens to access the Web Console as they do on the other system.

I belive evertying is in place. The clientConnect and serverConnect files have had and lines added. The users have ID setup on the OS/system but are not able to authenticate to the systems using their usernames and secureID tokens. Users also exist under 'Users' in the Global Manager.

Is there anything I have missed ?

I have researched your issue and found that Web Console using secureID tokens is not part of the default setup and configuration of Smarts. The Dell Technical Support team has no knowledge or experience in this type of custom configuration. This falls under customization and Professional Services is required. I recommend reaching out to your account team or Professional Services to assist.
