How can I retain Userdefined field values after DXA Clear?

Hi,

     We are running SAM 9.0.   I see that after a notification clears, the Userdefined fields no longer show the previously entered data, although we can still see the entry in the audit log.  I would like to still be able to see from the console that someone entered updates into the Userdefined fields, even though the notification has cleared.
