SCSI-3 reservations across sites between arrays (using EMC SRDF)?
Hi
Can you answer the following question for me,
Is it possible to have SCSI-3 reservations across sites, between arrays that are only replicated (using EMC SRDF)?
Thanks in advance.

The SCSI3 persistent reservation keys are NOT stored on a data LUN. Hence they are not replicated across SRDF. I believe they are stored on "special" SFS (Symmetrix File System) volume on your local symmetrix box.

one thing to add is that on code 75 ( i assume you are using VMAX), SCSI3 is enabled by default on all devices.
