Policy Manager on Windows 2012r2

Hello

When will ESRS Policy Manager supported on Windows 2012r2 Host?

Is planned to release in the near future Policy Manager equal ESRS_VE as virtual appliance?

Thanks

As far as Policy Manager Visualization , one of my  colleague  explains this perfectly;" It is possible to use a normal Virtual machine now (Windows or Linux) and run Policy Manager on that. It is repeatedly considered, here the usual thoughts:- It already can run on a "Standard" Virtual machine, and requires a lot of Windows\Linux libraries so cutting it down to an appliance wouldnt reduce the footprint by much.- The Policy Manager Server doesn't directly have comms over the Internet so the security requirements can be considered as lower.- Policy Manager is an application which can run on Servers running other applications, so dedicating a Server is maybe overkill. This is again a different environment to the ESRSv3 VM. For these reasons it's not such a high priority but is repeatedly considered.   "

Policy manager 6.6

As far as Support 2012 R2 , I do not have any plan date or status, please see any future update in the EMC Secure Remote Services Technial Guide.

Some Current Highlights in the guide in regards to Policy Manager:

1.Policy Manager collocated on the ESRS Virtual Edition is not supported

2. Policy Manager requires a site-supplied server.(This can be on a physical or virtual server

3. Windows Server 2012 R1 Foundation 64-bit  and • Windows Server 2012 R1 Standard 64-bit are supported in GUI mode only.

4. As far as Linux versions: • Red Hat 6.4 (32-bit and 64-bit) • CentOS 6.4 (32-bit and 64-bit), • SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 SP3 (64-bit)
