Individual ZFS File Sys or combine LUNS into 1 Zpool
Hi Folks,
I have presented a number of LUN's to a Solaris 10 host from a VNX5300. NetBackup is running on this host and it uses the VNX fLUNs for disk storage.
With regards to performance should I combine LUN's into 1 raid0 Zpool? What performance issues will I run into if I do this? Is it better to allow NetBackup to write to several individual file systems as opposed to 1.
NetBackup application can combine the individual file systems into a 'disk pool' and it then choosed the volume to use based on capacity.
Thanks for the help in advance!

for backup application i would consider using individual LUNs and let Netbackup manage them. By using individual LUNs there will be a lot more i/o queues to drive the data.
