How exactly the managed devices are getting populated in EMC policy manager with connectivity to Centralized ESRS

An ESRS configured to use the Policy Manager reports the devices it manages to the Policy Manager. The Policy Manager creates the Asset in its database and sorts it in the appropriate group based on the model. The devices will not be removed from PM if it is removed from ESRS. Devices not reported anymore from ESRS are shown as missing devices in PM. So the status Missing means different things in ESRS and in PM. They can be viewed and removed manually from PM in the UI.
