ESRS VE 3.36 (linux) - how to properly shutdown ESRS?

Hi, we are doing ESX host patching, and I need to shut down ESRS cleanly and properly using the CLI. The VM cannot be vmotioned, so it will be need to be shutdown. I have not been able to find the command required to shut it down, nor have i been able to find a checklist or proper shutdown procedure that needs to be followed, or checklist, short of checking services are running, for power-up. Anyone have this information that they can pass onto me? Thanks
