ESRS Service
I recently had to re-deploy the ESRS gateway at a client.
Question I have is, how do I remove the original Gateway from the ESRS service link.
I have moved all devices from the old to the new but the old Gate still shows up.
Old serial number is ESRSVE_4157803_15090706533898
New working one is ESRSVE_4157803_16053007263052
Also, I have to install a new version i.e. 3.10 as I am currently running 3.02
Can I use the existing serial number?

Hello persandre ,
The old gateway is automatically removed after a certain period.
I already can't find it anymore.
Regarding the new version install, do you mean you need to upgrade the actual gateway?
If so, yes, you may use the same gateway and just upgrade it.

Hi There,
I have 3.10 installed and it seems a fresh install is the only option.
I tried installing the newest version a while ago but had initial login issues at first login.
It would not accept the credentials used for root.
Has this been resolved or is there a “workaround”

I would recommend you delete your copy of the 3.02, since it is outdated. (and when used , it is deploying the server in the "old" infrastructure esrs.emc.com. EMC is in process of migrating all customer to esrs3.emc.com)
I recommend you download and install the latest version (3.16).

Prior to deleting your actual 3.02 ESRS you could try the solution to upgrade from 3.02 going to 3.04 first. Please note below:
"Customers currently on 3.02 cannot move directly to the latest version without moving to 3.04. Please apply this patch to upgrade to 3.04. Once on 3.04, customers will be notified of available updates automatically. Customers who are not accepting automatic updates can click on the latest version of ESRS located in the “Browse Products” selection list on the left side of the downloads page."
