ESRS for Isilon

Hi,

My customer wants to put Isilon on ESRS. Question -- When you've multiple network pools in a Isilon subnet --- which pool ESRS will use?

Customer has multiple pools in each subnet. There is firewall between ESRS and Isilon. Creating new subnet just for ESRS needs big approval process.  "--remote-support-subnet" allows to select subnet, but no pool. Isilon team has to provide ipaddress and ports to be open between Isilon and ESRS gateway. I've ports, but ipaddress of Isilon will be confusing part because we can't specify pool, and don't know which network pool will be use.

Appreciate your help!

why does it matter what pool, each subnet has only one gateway ? Is your concern that you need to specify every single ip in the pool that needs to get to ESRS ?  In my experience it's always node 1 that is trying to make connection to ESRS.

Another potential issue is remote access won't work if it selects a pool/IP that's not in the 'System' zone (ssh is only allowed in the System zone).
