Error Code 2961

Working with a client that keeps getting this message while their management server is sitting behind a proxy server:

This is running on windows 2008 R2, and we are running the latest version which is supported on 2k8r2

There is an issue at this time with the W2k8 R2 and Windows 7 version of the ESRS Devcie Client not being available on the Provisioning Service for download. Product Management is in the process of addressing this issue in the shortterm

Are you using the Provisioning Tool 2.16, or did you download ESRS IP Client?  If the latter, please provide the specific version that is being installed?  Have you been able to run the CECT program to pass tests?  Thanks, Ryan

Just downloaded the ESRS client and it ran through all of its checks, running with the latest version under support.emc.com.  We just installed on a windows 2003 host and things seem fine, can anyone comment on the actual support of 2k8 r2 as it doesnt appear to be working yet with the latest version which in my case i'm using the

ESRSIPClient-Win-32-x86-en_US-1.2.0.1.0554-1

The issue has been resolved -@ 1400 EDT yesterday the code was made available on teh Ptrovisioning Service ( PVS)  for the following OS's. Testing was done and completed for the

EMC Secure Remote Support (ESRS) IP Client 1.2.0.1.0554  in theESRS production environment @ 1500 EDT 

2k8 R2 Standard (64 bit) SP1

2k8 R2 Standard (64 bit) SP2

2k8 R2 Enterprise (64 bit) SP1

2k8 R2 Enterprise (64 bit) SP2

Windows 7 (32 bit) SP1

Windows 7 (32 bit) SP2

The 2961 should not be occuring at this time. This error indicates that the OS being submitted for teh version requesting is NOT available

I am experiencing the same issue with trying to install the ESRS for IP Client on Windows 2008R2 server.

I urgently need to know when the problem will be resolved.
