CECT Report reflects multiple ports as inactive(eg. 9519)
I plan to setup a new ESRS server since the old one is going out of support.
The CECT report reflects that ports such as 9519 on DMX are not responding to my new ESRS. However, if I check the same ports on my existing ESRS server, the result is same.
When I questioned my security and network team about the ports. They came up with the observations that my server(i.e. DMX) is not responding back to these ports, hence the failure in CECT report.
But, if something is not working on my existing infra, will I necessarily need on the new one ??

9519 is the port that RemotelyAnywhere listens on. RemotelyAnywhere only runs on VMAX or later so the test to 9519 will fail on any Symmetrix system prior to VMAX. On a side note, RemotelyAnywhere runs on all CLARiiON systems FLARE 29 or later so a test to port 9519 is applicable there too. On CLARiiON's running FLARE 28 and earlier, the port to check the health of the array is 5414, the port that EMCRemote listens on.

Hi Sandeep,
It is recommended to have all the ports open as per the 'Site Planning Guide'. It may happen that the existing infra was working with the minimum required ports open, and may be why the ports are shown inactive. Confirm all the required ports are open from the firewall side before proceeding.
