Version 2.2.0.253 Nag Notification and Other Issues

New version auto-updated. Now I get a nag notification regularly. Left- or right-clicking on the notification results in starting the app. In other words, there is no way to "clear" the notification without the app starting.

When started via the notification, the app insists on running all the five options. Why can't I configure which option is run?

I only want the hardware scan run once a month like before. Not all five options every day.

In fact, I NEVER want the Clean Files, Tune Performance, or Optimize Network options run ever. There have been reports of users running those options, having their system end up worse than before, and no way to go back via the app. The app doesn't even log what it's doing (what registry changes, for example), and obviously, once a file is deleted, it's gone unless you have a backup.

In my case, I'm running Support Assist Client v2.2.3.2

Were you able to get a resolution to this? Like you my SupportAssist pops up every day and nags me to run all 5 tests. I don't know why it bugs me every day. According to the settings, I have it configured to perform automated system scans every month.

I allowed it to complete all 6 scans a couple of days ago in hopes that would stop it from bothering me until the next scheduled month. It didn't. The next day it nagged me again to run it and it continues to nag me daily. It's irritating enough that I'm considering uninstalling it!

Hi mpkllc,

SupportAssist show notification for complete scan every week but you can turn it off as well instead of uninstalling.

In case notification coming when you launch UI then you can choose "Never Remind Me" or "Remind Me Later"

In case notification coming on windows tray then open UI go to settings on top right corner and then go to Notification and uncheck the box you will not receive any update / scan notification in future.

Thanks
