User cannot install Drivers via Support Assist for Business
We're deploying Support Assist in our environment which works fine so far and our devices are registering themselves in the TechDirect portal.
From the configuration of the SupportAssist we want that users are able to install drivers on their own without admin rights.
Therefore we've activated the driver updates option for users inside the deployment options and made sure this config was deployed to the clients
However on the users side the option is greyed out and users are unable to perform updates:
What do we need to do to activate this option?
Is there also any plan to to control this settings via GPO in the future? The current way is very static and not really handy.

Hi @JimiDiCapo
Driver update at end user system need system admin access because driver installation requires admin right of the user.
If you hover your mouse on i button next to Driver Updates you can see that message.

Thanks for the information, but then why is the option there to control it for users if it is useless?
Also how can admins then use the SupportAssist? RunAs doesn't seem to work as it should
