unable to send a "test call home message" from sannav

Hi,

we have a sannav server 2.3.1a and a scg 5.28.00.14.

When attempting to generate a test message, we receive the following error in sannav logs:

faultmgmt-be - [KeepAliveThreadPoolScheduler1]com.brocade.dcm.fault.callhome.server.emc.ScgKeepAliveScheduler - Upload Response text for keepalive event {"message":"Device match not found for input device with Serial Number xxx-CM and CONNECTRIX-GW,,","serialNumber":"xxx-CM","gatewaySerialNumber":"ELMAPLxxx","veType":"Connected","model":"CONNECTRIX-GW","responseCode":0}

faultmgmt-be - [KeepAliveThreadPoolScheduler1] SignTool - Unable to generate signatureorg.apache.http.auth.InvalidCredentialsException: Bad Authorization Header, No Signature

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you.

Hello emirus,

Has the test call home worked before or no? Which connectrix switch do you have, and what is the OS version as you didn’t list it in your post? I would double check that the necessary ports (443 and 9443) are open on the firewall. Also is your SANnav is properly licensed, and the serial number is registered in the DELL EMC SRS extract database.

Hi @DELL-Sam L

thank's for your reply.

Has the test call home worked before or no?
- Not yet with dell branded products

Which connectrix switch do you have, and what is the OS version as you didn’t list it in your post?
- DS-7720B
- FOS 9.2.1a

I would double check that the necessary ports (443 and 9443) are open on the firewall.
- Yes, the ports are open

Also is your SANnav is properly licensed,
- Yes, it's correct licensed

and the serial number is registered in the DELL EMC SRS extract database.
- That could probobly be the problem. How can I check it and where can I configure it ?

Hello emirus,

Is this a fresh install of SANnav or were you upgrading from a previous version?

Hello @DELL-Sam L ,

yes, it was an upgrade. The last upgrade was from 2.3.0 to 2.3.1a.

Hello emirus,

When you performed your upgrade of SANnav did you make any changes to your SRS gateway? Have you confirmed that the permissions are set correctly? Have you ensured that the 'SupportSave' option is enabled in the Dell Call Home Center, as this is required for generating and sending support files. Which version of Dell Secure Remote Services (SRS) VE/Gateway are you using?
