SupportAssist Can it do the following...??
Here are a list of questions on SA we'd like to know.
How do we know when the laptop is connected to Dell?
Is there a way to connect manually?
Can we run the diag tools in stealth?
Can SA push drivers out to target machines?
Support for failures (scan failures, driver update failures etc.) are there log files? Where?
How often are version updates for this tool, are they automatic?
Permission levels required to perform specific functions – i.e. scan, push drivers/bios
Who sees the alerts and how do you modify the notification?
Do alerts for hardware automatically send parts?
How often do machines check in to Dell’s system?
Can the frequency of scans be set?
Can the time of day for scans be set?
Can drivers be immediately pushed to machines?
What kind of bandwidth does a scan use?
