SupportAssist backup user data doesn't accept spaces in Windows password

Recently I had a critical Windows error that required a reset to factory settings.  Before starting the factory reset, I attempted to backup my user data.

However, my Windows user account password contains spaces, and SupportAssist would not permit me to enter spaces in my password.  This prevented me from backing up my user data.

I found an alternative solution that avoided a factory reset, but I want to bring the problem to the SupportAssist user forum's attention.  Even though Windows permits spaces in user account passwords, SupportAssist does not.

This is also an open question to Dell support: why doesn't SupportAssist permit spaces in Windows user account passwords?
