Remove a Failed Device Added

So I had a device I was adding that happened to have the wrong password in the credential. No problem. Fixed the credential. Except now I am stuck with the device, an ESXi server that is grayed out and can't be edited or removed. How do you get rid of one of these things? I want to either fix it or delete but I can't do either, and I am not throwing off my whole naming scheme because of this one item.
