Powerflex is not supported on SCG 5
We have finally confirmed that PowerFlex is not supported by SCG 5. From the PowerFlex revision notes however, SCG 5 notes are still saying supported.
PowerFlex Manager release notes
‘For use with PowerFlex Manager, it is recommended to not upgrade from Secure Remote Services to Secure Connect Gateway. PowerFlex Manager, PowerFlex rack, PowerFlex appliance, and PowerFlex are validated for and support Secure Remote Services version 3.x, and are not validated for Secure Connect Gateway. Upgrading to Secure Connect Gateway might impact your Dell Technologies call home alerting capability. Contact your Dell Technologies account team for guidance.’

This information is incorrect. SCG is supported but at the time this forum question was written it was not bundled with the latest RCM and IC version. It now it. Please refer to LKB 000198137.
Support is there and validated for:
SCG Virtual Edition
5.10.10
Where Used
Release
Management Software
3.6.3.0_Management_Software
Software
3.7.0.1_RCM_Test_Software
Software
3.7.0.0_RCM_Test_Software
Ideally, we need customer to update to the latest RCM and or IC but we will handle support of SCG on a case by case basis. When an issue occurs we do have break fix for legacy versions.
