OpenManage Enterprise extension not picking up all devices

Hi,

We've just put in a new installation of OME 3.3 and SupportAssist Enterprise 4 and purchased 12 new pieces of Dell equipment. OME has 12 devices, 10 servers and 2 switches and are green with no errors. SAE has the extension installed, the credential profiles and account credentials are setup correctly. When the extension runs it picks up 8 of the devices (4 servers and 2 switches) and are imported, but 4 servers aren't being imported through the connector.

I've tried: -

Removing the extension and re-adding it

Rebooting OME, SAE and the servers

Reviewing any differences on the iDRACs between the servers that are and aren't working

Adding the servers into SAE manually - this works successfully

 

Anybody have any ideas or logs that can be reviewed to determine where the fault exists?

Hey there,

seems like the issue comes with the use of the OME adapter. This may be solved within coming patches, but please don't nail me in this

I recommend using the discovery directly via SAE instead of OME.

As you mentioned before this works fine for all machines.
