Local User account on Secure Connect Gateway Appliance

If there was the first account that appears to be the only local account was created with a username that you did not want. How can I change that? I have two Appliances and a Dell rep helped me set them up quickly and I am going back now to finish setting other things up and noticed that I would like to rename or create a new admin account and delete the current one but my slight issue is they in the backend clustered them together and I am not sure how to do that.

I am not sure what you are asking about. This is for the Appliance so I think yes for servers? But I also want to connect iDRAC's to this appliance.

The page here has a link to if you are using a Windows or Linux configuration, but to add a user you can;

 

  1. Log in to the Secure Connect Gateway web interface as the admin user.
  2. Navigate to the "Users" or "Local Users" section.
  3. Click on the "Add User" or "Create User" button.
  4. Fill in the required information, such as username, password, and role (e.g., admin, user, or viewer).
  5. Configure any additional settings as needed (e.g., authentication type, permissions, and access controls).
  6. Click "Save" or "Apply" to create the new user.

Where is the user information at? I don't see a users section. I have LDAP users. I have LDAP setup I am just looking for local users.

Sorry, I stand corrected. There isn't a GUI way to change the default user on SCG logins, but you can find the other steps on page 19 here
