Internal Server Error

Hi Folks,

This is in regards with SRS gateway.

Around 3 days before I upgraded my SRS gateway virtual edition from version 3.52.00.08 to 3.52.10.08. After upgrading, I'm unable to login to the gateway portal. After putting in username and password, I'm getting "Internal Server Error" message.

Appreciate any help regarding this issue, please.

I am sorry you faced this issue. I've search for documentations or knowledge base articles and found this one:

There are many possible causes for these types or errors, such as:

Problems with the SRS / SupportAssist server or VM.

Firewall issues blocking required ports between the PowerStore and the SRS / SupportAssist gateway.

 

Could you please check it, whether the symptoms are the same?

Hi Maria,

Thanks for your update!

But the issue hasn't been resolved yet. I'm facing this issue connecting with Data Domain. Although, I've checked all the recommendations provided by you but that didn't resolve the issue.

I checked running services also and compared that with my Production site's SRS gateway server and found that some of the services are not running on this problematic SRS gateway server. I tried to restart them but those services didn't start.

I have raised an SR# 
as well but I didn't get any response from them yet. I called them on support number also but no luck.

If you have a snapshot taken before upgrading SRS VE, I recommend you to revert to it.

If not, I would highly recommend you to take a snapshot next time in order to revert when facing issue after upgrading.

it is sometimes convenient to rebuild SRS VE if you hurry to fix the issue.

Yes, I received email from Bernard this afternoon at 12:47 and responded him back. I'll check with him also on this issue and keep you also posted on progress.

Once we get onto some solution, I'll post here as well so that others can also have an update on this.
