How to add PowerVault ME5xxx to SCG/VE
Hi,
I'm having problems connecting my ME5 to the SCG/VE
The official documentation says the following:
“ PowerVault ME5 array appear after SupportAssist has been configured in PowerVault Manager to use the Secure Gateway"
So,
I have activated the SupportAssist on my ME5
I have the newest SCG /VE -> 5.22.x
I use the right port -> 9443
and I use the right Access Key and PIN
The result from my connection check "check support-assist-connection mode gateway" is:
Connection State: Connected
Status: success
Message: ok
But, my ME5 doesn't appear in the SCG device list.
Does anyone know this problem?

Daniel089,
It is my understanding that the ME5 went straight to the back end
and that you register it by itself without SCG. So I am not certain you can discover it in SCG VE.
You may want to consider calling into the OpenManage group for assistance and confirmation.
