Can Not connect to dell Backend during registrying Secure Connect Gateway
I have deployed a SCG Virtual version (ver. 5.1000.10).
There is no error during the deployment.
after connected to the web GUI by https://[IP]:5700
I'm trying to registry the SCG but at the proxy setup session I got an error below.
Dellのバックエンドに接続できません。ネットワーク設定を確認、検証してください。ポート8443と443が必要であり、次に対して開いている必要があります： esrs3-core.emc.com,esrs3-coredr.emc.com
In English ,it means local system (SCG) can't connect to the dell backend,and I should make sure port 8443 and 443 for esrs3-core.emc.com,esrs3-coredr.emc.com is opened in my network (Firewall)
There is no proxy in my enviroment, and I am quiet sure 8443 and 443 is no blocked by the Firewall.
I tried following command on SCG CLI
telenet esrs3-core.emc.com 443
telenet esrs3-core.emc.com 8443
and it is showed that local system connected to the esrs3-core.emc.com
I'm confusing why the telenet is OK but the Web GUI is not OK
Does anyone facing the same problem?

Excuse me
I 've fixed it myself.
It is actually a Firewall issue.

Excuse me, I have the same problem but for my part I have the firewall side all open for testing. But unfortunately I have the same problem.
What did you do with your firewall?

Thank you for you question.
I am not in charge of the corporate firewall, so I just asked the network team to add some permission rules to allow the SCG appliance could access the following URL (which you can find in Dell's official manual) both on port 443(https) and tcp 8443.
And after that I retried the registration and it worked.
Sorry I am not the member of the network team ,and I can't give you further information about how to configure the firewall rules. But I think it's just some general configurations, like adding the rules into the white list for example.
