VNXe CIFS file replication

For asynchronous CIFS file replication via the Unisphere GUI, I noticed the option to increase the size of the source is grayed out.  At a point in time where we need to increase the size is this performed automatically by the system or must we stop replication, increase the size and perform another full sync?
