SQLServer TempDB fills after SNAPS job runs.
Hello -
We installed Replication Manager v5.4.1.0 a few months ago. I have noticed that on or about every third day the SNAPS job fails due to lack of disk space on the VM SQL Server hosting the replication (RM) data files. The Temp DB fills, occupying nearly all of the available C drive space until I shrink it manually.
I have nightly scheduled jobs running to backup the system databases but this event keeps occurring. I would like to know how others configure the backup jobs at the SQL Server level and how do you avoid issues with the TempDB?
Thank you in advance.
