Replication Manager with Exchange 2010 Native DAG questions
I want to make sure that I have the Exchange 2010 Native DAG requirements correct:
1. We would add the Exchange server's DAG name instead of each server's name in RM, correct?
2. How do we differentiate between active/passive copies if #1 is correct? For example, I have Exchange-A which hosts 4 active and 4 passive (from Exchange-B) DBs. Exchange-B hosts 4 active and 4 passive (from Exchange-A) DBs as well. I want to set up a job so that the snaps/clones are taken from the passive copy. Will I be able to choose the 4 active DBs on Exchange-A and 4 active DBs on Exchaneg-B?
3. I want RM to truncate the logs so I will choose the "Online Full" option when configuring the RM job. If I create clones off of the passive copy will RM truncate the logs on the active DB copy?
Thank you in advance.
Ernes Taljic.

One more question. Does RM work if bitlocker encryption is enabled on the hosts?
Thanks!
