Replication manager iscsi snapshot permanent promotion

I have some iscsi snapshots i've taken using replication manager.  i've promoted/mounted/restore the lun/sql database on my dev server.  how can i make the promotion permanent?  meaning, i almost want to snap it off and make it its own lun now?  is that possible
