Replication Manager and NFS Snaps on VNX
Hi,
I am getting the following warnings when taking a snapshot of a NFS datastore on VNX using RM 5.4.1.
Anyone know what it means. "102900 WARNING: Virtual machine eudc1ave01 file / is not found in replica or is not a valid file"
Can't find the error in Primus.

By the way this is happenning on every data store that is Snapped.
When you run manually you don't see the warning it only when you look at the replica history you see this.

Do you use Lab Manager by any chance? Are those VM's lab manager VMs?

So let's take the following VM as an example: eudc1ave01. Was that VM P2V'd at some point and is it still in-use? Also, do you have VMware tools installed on that VM?

No they are mainly P to V VMs.

That VM was v to v'd using vmware converter from a standalone ESXi server using vmware cold converter apparently to a new VMware 5 Cluster.
It has latest VMware tools installed.
When you look at the datastores there doesn't seem anything unusual with them.

I don't haev any other ideas. The problem description is not clean since it states file / is not found. Open a support ticket and if you can update us on the solution.

Ernes, thanks anyway for looking.
I have been thru RM proxy client debug logs but not much help there either.
The errors appear at this point.

Can you shut down one of the VM's that you are getting errors on and try the RM job again? Curious if you will see the same error again for that VM.
