Replication Manager 5.x How to manually unmount Clone?
Hello,
If the Replication Manager to not unmount a clone (hangs up or else) how can I force the Replication Manager to unmount it?
It seems to me that it is not enough to remove the appropriate LUN from the mounthost storagegroup (rescan, and so on...)
Is there a way to really force the replication manager to delete the clone from its database?
Sometimes the feature comes in some rare circumstances; then the RM asks me if a would like to set the clone to dismounted even if it is not.
Thanks and best regards
Manfred

RM 5.0 Sp3 onwards and RM 5.1
- if you attempt to unmount the clone and it fails 3 times, then a popup box should appear asking should RM set the state of the replica to unmounted.
As soon as RM does this, then you can delete (expire) the replica.
Please let me know how it goes.
Thanks !
James.
