Is it possible to change the size of the .rdf files?
Hi,
we are running Replistor 6.2SP4, and we noticed thta the .rdf files are now 100MB each. Is there a way to change the size of these files ? We were used to desl with files of 10MB, and we would very much like to go back to that size.
Kind regards,
Paul Wesselkamp

- Stop RepliStor Server service (not the Control service).
- Stop the RepliStor driver by issuing the following command via the Command Line Interface: net stop replistor
- Using Regedit, click on the RepliStor key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RepliStorControl\Parameters
- Edit or add a DWORD named: KernelLogLen
- Set it to 1048576 (decimal)
- Start RepliStor Server service
IMPORTANT: The size of the Kernel Logs were changed to 100MB for performance reasons in respect to the way Mirroring now works. Decreasing the size of the files may result in poor performance. You will want to test their usage to ensure that decreasing the size does not negatively impact your environment.
