File server and RM

Hi there,

We've deployed several file servers on our CX4 SAN, in the past we were using network to backup the file servers with Net Backup agent installed on the server.

However as the file server gets larger in size we want to leverage SAN backup and use snapshots, but one thing we've encountered is if we use snapshot there'll be some files we have backup errors because there "open", if this is the case do we need to use RM? Can anyone advise please.
