Failed Replica

Over the weekend I received this alert from the Replication manager. As per my findings, we get this alert if there are VSS copies configured on local drives targetting the storage location as SAN drives. i.e E: Drive in my case.

However, I have verified that there are no scheduled VSS snapshots on that windows host, and also the storage location points to the local drives itself.

To my surprise the next replica was successful. I am trying to figure out why did the first replica failed.

Host OS: Server 2003 R2 SP2

Can some one help me in reaching out the possible reason???

The issue looks more to an array perfomance at that point. it can happen if the array snap/clone commands didn't return with in the 10 sec vss time. if it reoccurs better open a case with the RM client logs from host hlrprodmm01
