Autostart Issues

Hello to all,

I ve been trying to setup Autostart 5.3 SP3 in 2 windows 2008 servers x64 R2 and I ve been facing some problems.

1. Although I have all my NIC's installed and I can ping them when i try to nbtstat it i cannot see my Ip address of the mirror and the heartbeat NIC. In the autostart I see them alive.

2. Although I can "see" my mirror drives in the EMC Mirroring Data Source when I try to apply the new data source I get an error called "Failed to manage D: Driver result : 259, No more data is available"

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

George

I would start by trying the EMC AutoStart 5.3.4 as per the following support solution:

http://solutions.emc.com/emcsolutionview.asp?id=esg110338

If that doesn't do the trick, then I would suggest the following:

http://solutions.emc.com/emcsolutionview.asp?id=esg100479

There are also a few other support solutions with that message available on Powerlink.  Let us know your results.
