what will happen in this scenario - rpa lose connection to one fabric (vmax splitter)

Assume I have an environment with 2 RPAs and VMAX splitter and use only 2 FC ports of one RPA to connect san switch as below topo:

VMAX1.jpg

As we know, VMAX SPLITTER use FA PORTS as splitter, all FA ports used by hosts need to be accessed by RPA. So my question is:  If  we lose connection between RPA1 and SAN SWITCH1 as below picture(maybe RPA FC port failure, or FC cable failure, or SAN switch port failure), what will happen to the CGs run one RPA1?

VMAX2.jpg

I think the access to VMAX 7E:0 of RPA1 will lose ,  so any host writes happened in 7E:0 cannot be split and sent to RPA1. I guess the CG run on RPA1 NEED to fail over to RPA2, but I have no chance to test this. Am I right?

RPA2 will take ownership of the CGs belonging to RPA1.

Thanks Forshr,

Then if each RPA use 2 FC ports connect to each Fabric, this ownership changing will not happen when one port fail, Right?
