vRPA deployment question

Hello,

We are deploying  vRPA in the same ESXi host which is connected to EMC data store through FC as attached.

The  application mentioned in the pic is accessing a LUN from the VNX through FC and we are using vRPA to replicate the same LUN.

Can anyone  please confirm whether this deployment will work or should we separate vRPA from ESX connected to EMC LUN  through FC.  ?
