vcenter registration
With RP4VM does the the vcenter registration have to be the the vcenter the rp4vm residing on??
lets say I have a mgmt vc where I have the rp4vm residing, but i want protect vm's sitting in a different vc..is this possible??
if so is it a case of just adding the plugins to the vc?
Both vc's have access to lan/wan/iscsi network's..

Hi,
RP4VM can protect VMs residing on vCenters without vRPAs registered to them. Up to 4 vCenters per a single RP4VM cluster, including the vCenter where the vRPAs reside.
Once another vCenter is registered, the plugin would be automatically pushed to the new vCentet. There should be LAN (Managment) connectivity between the vRPAs and vCenter and between the ESXs housing protected VMs and the vRPAs.
There's a section in the Installation and Deployment guide which covers the topic of registration another vCenter.
Hope that helps,
