Storage vMotion between LUNs
Hi,
I am just wanting to confirm that RecoverPoint still handles storage vMotion the same as the below answered question?
How does RecoverPoint treat Storage vMotion between 2 replicated LUNs?
If I storage vmotion a 1TB VM from one LUN to another in the same consistency group, this would be change data and replicated to the DR site.
Thanks,

Hello everyone,
The only thing that you have to keep in mind is the size of your Journal when using Storage vMotion migration. In that scenario (1TB VM) when you migrate that VM from LUN1 to LUN2 maybe the Journal would not be enough to complete the operation if you migrate all the disks at the same time. An alternative is to migrate one disk at a time, this would leave the Journal enough space and time to complete operations.
Regards.

I have a query here that LUN2 will have new data and it will be replicated across the link but at the same time LUN1 is also being emptied which means 1's are being zeroed since there is no space reclaim in this case. I believe changes on LUN1 will be replicated as wel. Correct me if I am wrong ?

Both LUNs are affected, therefore differential replication will take place for both.
